It also has mop lifter technology which lifts the pad automatically as it changes between tile and laminate or hardwood flooring, as well as carpet or rugs, to avoid soaking soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only downside is that it's pricey. But, the sheer number of features makes it a tempting choice for anyone looking to get rid of their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can justify the cost we strongly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop combo. The high price is justified by its robust features, which include a massive vacuuming capability, as well as two gyrating mop heads. It also has an app-based, smart controller and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is among the highest robotic vacuum and mop combos on the market. The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris compared to the other hybrid mops I tested. In addition it's not as capable at scrubbing away staining that is as strong as those in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it requires regular maintenance. To avoid mildew and unpleasant odors, the base station dustbag, water, and tanks must be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. The mop pads sold separately will require replacement every few months.
budget robot vacuum would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. For robot vacuum cleaners who are on a smaller budget, I would suggest a more rudimentary model that allows you to save money while still enjoying clean hands at your home. It's important to note that even the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can purchase however, its price and ongoing maintenance will eventually make it more of a desire rather than a requirement.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're in search of a robot mop and vacuum that can pick up dirt and dust on your hard floors while taking care of wet mess, then take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop set-up is a mighty suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a huge battery capacity that can be used for both vacuuming as well as mowing. It is also equipped with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It comes with a roller-mop that is self-cleaning and makes it stand out from other models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to dock. However, if you do opt for this feature you'll have to purchase the brand-name cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit you to use your personal cleaner of choice.
Like most robots, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map a area and moved around furniture. There are many mopping options that include SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the mops' sensors to find the most efficient way to clean your home as it maps the area.
The Qrevo did well in our tests, just as all Roborock models we've test. Its navigation system works well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in a neat way. Its 'Normal" pathing option covers the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, but it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets that are thick, but it might not be able to identify smaller objects like electrical wires or rug tassels.
The most obvious flaw with this model is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option which could be a problem for people who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning with their robot.
